Wanted
A group of elementary school students were on a field trip to the local police station. Several of the children were fascinated by the wanted posters on the wall.
Little Billy raised his hand and asked the police officer giving them the tour who the people on the wall were.
“Those are pictures of criminals we are looking for,” answered the policeman. “We call those wanted posters.”.
Little Billy looked puzzled. His hand shot back up into the air. “Well,” he wondered, “why didn’t you just keep them when you took their picture?”

I Scream for Ice Cream! I don't know about you, but at my house, we must havve ice cream at ALL times. Yep. It's an addiction. And our 2 year old is pretty addicted too. lol It's so yummy! I just learned about this ice cream from Wal Mart. Blue Bunny. Have you ever had it? I am going to go get some and try it. I hear it is really yummy. You can also get some coupons here. Check it out. An Afternoon at the Beach

We took our little boy to the beach this past weekend. We only went for a little bit. We let him play in the sand. It was fun. I just love it when we can drop everything and just spend some much needed family time together! It's great. It was a nice little break from everything. We need to do it more often.

Show us Your Life - Baby Showers

Kellys Korner is having her special show us your life baby shower this week. Check it out in her blog. The last baby shower I threw was for my twin sister. She had a little girl. So needless to say, everything was pink! I had fun with it. I attempted to make little cheesecake bites. They were good but didn't turn out very pretty. I ordered the cake from a local bakery and my mom made some candles with my niece's monnogram. I didn't get a whole lot of pictures. But here are some.

I have recently been getting involved with coupon clipping and stuff. Nowadays we need to save as much as we can! I am all for coupons and savings. My hubby was skeptical at first, but now every time we go grocery shopping, he asks me for coupons. It's funny.

I already printed my coupons and am going to Target this weekend. I am so excited!!!

Rain, rain, go away

Everytime we try to plan a beach day, we get rained on. This past weekend was my birthday and I really wanted to spend a day on the beach. I love our beach here because we can drive on it. We park the car, pop the trunk and play in the sand. Our little boy loves it! This summer we have only gone once. :( We keep trying to go and then the rain comes. Hopefully we'll be able to go at least once more before the fall.

We got a brand new logo!!! Isn't it pretty? We love it sooo much! We are still working on the banner for the etsy store. But we wanted to go ahead and put it on here. A friend of ours helped us with it. Isn't it great? We are soooo excited! Let us know what you think of our new look!

We opened our etsy store 2 weeks ago. We have had several views on our items, but no sales yet. I know it does take a while for the sales to come. I totally understand that. I have been going to chats and forums on etsy. I twitter and blog. I also have a facebook page. SO, what does one have to do to get our name out there? It seems to me that most blogs, twitters, forums and chats I go to is mostly people trying to sell sell sell and are not buying. So, what's the point? How did you get your name out there? How did you start getting your sales?

SHOW US YOUR LIFE - Wedding Dress

Today is show us your wedding dress in Kelly's Korner. I got married over 6 years ago and all my pictures are in print. I had no desire to scan all of them. But I had these 2 on here. I have a whole album of bridal portraits, but I couldn't find it. lol

I had a small, simple wedding. I didn't want anything elaborate or expensive! I loved everything about it. I got married in a small country church with a white steeple. It was great! That was one of the best days of my life - I still remember how I felt walking down the aisle with my dad to marry my prince charming! It was great knowing that I would be with my soulmate for the rest of my life!

My dress had beading all over it. My favorite part was the bottom - it had some beautiful details of scalloped flowers and beads. My favorite part is the long train. My veil also had flowers embroidered on it and my tiara was white roses.

I loved my dress! I wish I still fit in it. :)
